Set on a remote island off Brazil’s Bahian coast, the hotel is surrounded by untouched nature — dense tropical vegetation, quiet beaches and the rhythmic presence of the ocean. It’s a destination defined by disconnection, where the landscape takes the lead.
Sur cette île préservée au large de Bahia, l’environnement est brut et intact : végétation tropicale dense, plages sauvages et horizon marin omniprésent. Une destination pensée pour ralentir et se reconnecter.
Designed by São Paulo-based studio FGMF, the project carefully integrates 20 suites into the jungle. The architecture plays with repetition and variation: a clean, modernist structure softened by irregular balconies, local materials and elements like cobogó brickwork that filter light and air.
Imaginé par le studio FGMF, le projet intègre 20 suites au cœur de la nature. L’architecture joue sur un équilibre entre rigueur moderniste et variations organiques, avec des balcons tous différents et des matériaux locaux comme les briques cobogó.
Each suite is conceived as a private retreat, complete with ocean views, a generous terrace and its own plunge pool. No two are identical — some feature pergolas or suspended hammocks, others open entirely to the landscape. Upper-floor rooms offer sweeping views over the treetops to the sea, while ground-floor suites prioritise privacy, cocooned within lush vegetation.
Chaque suite dispose d’une piscine privée, d’une terrasse généreuse et d’une vue sur l’océan. Les configurations varient, offrant une expérience unique à chaque séjour. Les étages supérieurs ouvrent sur des vues dégagées, tandis que les chambres en rez-de-jardin privilégient l’intimité au cœur de la végétation.
The restaurant, set behind the suites, floats above a garden in a raw concrete structure. The menu celebrates Bahian flavours with a refined touch — think seafood-driven dishes like shrimp stew risotto or fresh snapper ceviche, sourced locally. Nearby, a bar and communal spaces create a relaxed, social rhythm as day fades into evening.
Le restaurant, suspendu au-dessus d’un jardin, met à l’honneur la cuisine bahianaise avec une approche contemporaine. Produits locaux, fruits de mer et saveurs authentiques composent une expérience culinaire simple mais précise. Le bar et les espaces communs prolongent l’atmosphère détendue du lieu.
Piscine, sauna, plage et spa en plein air composent un parcours naturel vers le lâcher-prise. Les soins, à base d’huiles locales, s’inscrivent dans une approche sensorielle et immersive.
A polygonal pool, sun deck and sauna sit at the edge of the property, just before the beach begins — the perfect spot to watch the sunrise. The spa, open to the elements, offers treatments using local oils and traditional techniques, blending seamlessly with the sounds of the ocean.
